our story

My name is Anthony Bernardi, and I proudly introduce myself as the owner and head trainer of Bulldog Personal Training & Nutrition. Since a young age, I have been infatuated with strong, muscular physiques that epitomize physical strength and vitality. At the age of 16, I embarked on my fitness journey, taking the first steps towards transforming my own physique. Over the past 25 years, I have devoted myself to the realm of exercise, forging an unbreakable bond with this passion. With every passing year, my resolve has only grown stronger, culminating into the obtaining of my personal training certification in 2020.

Although I boasted a strong physique on the outside, I never paid much attention to nutrition and overall health. This changed in 2011 when I met my wife Stephanie. Stephanie lives with Lupus and had been managing the autoimmune illness for years with medications and the guidance of our standard medical field. At the suggestion of my mother, we began seeing a naturopath, and I witnessed Stephanie's life transform through diet alone. Within three months, she was able to discontinue her medication, and her symptoms subsided greatly. This experience opened our eyes to the power of nutrition in improving one's health and well-being.

As a result of Stephanie's remarkable journey, I now prioritize the holistic approach to health for all our new clients at Bulldog Personal Training & Nutrition. The first thing I request from them is to have a full blood test done, checking all their vitamin and mineral levels. By ensuring we start off in the best possible position, we lay the foundation for long-term success.

Understanding the significance of proper nutrition and its impact on overall health has become the cornerstone of our training philosophy. We know that exercise alone is not enough; it must be complemented by a well-balanced diet. This comprehensive approach allows our clients to unlock their full potential and achieve their fitness goals.
